Work experience placement

Also this year a student joined the lab for a work experience placement within the Education Business Partnership, this time from the William Lovell Church of England Academy, Stickney, Lincolnshire.

SET for BRITAIN

psc_backgroundOn the 18th of March 2013 I’ll be in London to display a poster showing my research at the House of Commons within the event “SET for BRITAIN“, organized by the Parliamentary and Scientific Committee joined together with the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Institute of Physics and the Society of Biology.

The title of the poster will be “MOLECULAR ENGINEERING OF BOTULINUM TOXIN AND DESIGN OF NEW THERAPEUTICS”.

Lincoln Academy guest lecture

I’ll give a public lecture for the Lincoln Academy Public Lectures series on the 19th of March 2013 at 6.00PM (registration at 5.30PM) at the EMMTEC Auditorium (free event).
